Jake Ryder Peters, 14, Remembered for Love of Fishing, Hunting, and the Outdoors Following Tragic ATV Accident
Jake Ryder Peters died at age 14 following a devastating ATV accident, leaving a deeply grieving family and community.
Jake attended Bighorn Academy at Hardin Middle School and cherished fishing, hunting, and spending time outdoors.
As an only child surrounded by a large extended family, Jake received profound love throughout a life remembered as far too brief.
The family endured Jake’s passing about one month after the death of family patriarch George Peters, bringing two painful losses in close succession.
Funeral arrangements involve services in Billings and travel from Crow Agency as loved ones prepare to lay Jake to rest and honor cherished memories.
The fundraiser supporting funeral home fees, travel expenses, and related costs was created on October 21, 2026.
