Avery Center, 25, Dies Following Motorcycle and Truck Collision in Anderson County, South Carolina
Avery Center, 25, died following a motorcycle and truck collision in Anderson County, South Carolina, on Wednesday morning, October 21, 2026.
The collision occurred at approximately 8:40 a.m. near the Walmart on Anderson Road in Powdersville.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol reported that Center was traveling north when a truck turning left onto Anderson Road struck the motorcycle.
The impact ejected Center and sent the motorcycle off the road before it collided with a parked vehicle.
Center died at the scene despite wearing a helmet, according to the Anderson County Coroner’s Office.
No one occupied the parked vehicle, and the truck driver sustained no injuries.
Center’s death was reported on October 22, 2026, as the community learned of the tragic loss.
