Ezra Weber, 20, Dies Following Motorcycle and Pickup Truck Collision on U.S. Highway 45 in Coles County, Illinois
Ezra Weber, 20, of Trilla, Illinois, died Saturday, October 17, 2026, after a motorcycle collided with a pickup truck on U.S. Highway 45.
The collision occurred at County Road 000 North in Trilla, near the Coles and Cumberland county line.
The Coles County Sheriff’s Department said the motorcycle struck the pickup as the truck turned onto U.S. 45 while attempting to pass a slower-moving vehicle.
Officials pronounced Weber dead at the scene and temporarily closed the highway while crews investigated and cleared the area.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision as the community mourns Weber’s loss.
