Sheila Foerster, 58, Dies Following Electric Bicycle Crash in Rockford, Illinois
Sheila Foerster, 58, of Rockford, Illinois, died following an electric bicycle crash on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
The collision occurred around 10 a.m. while Foerster was riding in the 500 block of Welty Avenue, according to the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office.
A truck struck the electric bicycle, and emergency responders transported Foerster to a nearby hospital, where Foerster later died from the injuries sustained in the crash.
Foerster was one of two people who died in separate Rockford crashes that day.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
