Jamel Johanthon Smith Remembered Ahead of Celebration of Life in Mangum, Oklahoma
Jamel Johanthon Smith, 35, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on October 13, 2026.
Born in Mangum, Oklahoma, on March 19, 1991, Jamel shared a meaningful life with a large circle of relatives and friends.
Jamel was preceded in passing by their father, Eddie Smith.
Jamel leaves five children, Jamiere Dickens, Jamahja Hamilton, Jamel Smith Jr., Sha'riyah McCauley, and Jeremiah Smith.
Jamel is also remembered by their mother, Carol King; grandmother, Dorothy King; brothers, Andre, Chris King, and Eddie A. Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A celebration of life will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 23, 2026, at Saint John's Zion Baptist Church, 1721 N Oklahoma Ave, Mangum, Oklahoma 73554.
