Mackenzie Jean Rios, born December 1, 1994, passed away unexpectedly on October 10, 2026, at age 31.
Known as Kenzie, Rios brought people together through contagious humor, a relatable personality, and a bright presence.
Rios grew up in Tracy, discovered a passion for soccer at an early age, and continued playing after moving to Santa Barbara.
A talented scholar and athlete, Rios played soccer throughout high school and while studying at Santa Barbara City College.
As an adult, Rios competed on numerous community league teams, sometimes joining several at once, while championing equal opportunities for every child who loved the game.
Rios will be remembered as a loving family member, loyal friend, devoted dog parent, enthusiastic sports fan, and generous advocate for young soccer players.
